It’s 5:00 am PST and I am still eagerly hoping for a snow day. Until that happens it is am cardio as normal. Today I think I have a long run day. Working on bettering my 5k time.
This is where it all happens!
Please, please, please SNOW more!
Started targeting my core more. I am going to plank for 2 minutes then I shall run like Forrest. I am building muscle:
But I am not here yet:
All in due time. I have patience (been working on it for years), I have support, and I have true grit.
What inspires you? How do you keep on keeping on when you don’t want to? Please share!
Yeah, that’s right. I am pretty sure that the treadmill was a one way ticket to hell. I did fine all the way up until 13 minutes when my shins started screaming at me
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? CAN’T YOU TELL YOUR FEET AREN’T WORKING? GET OFF! GET OFF NOW!
I responded by running for 2 minutes. Take that shins!
I went 3.7 miles and burned 430 calories. I ran intermittently throughout the 60 minute routine. Working at 2 minute increments. Sometimes it was very hard because of my feet. My lungs were fine. My legs were fine. My body was fine. My feet, were not. It was especially hard to run at a speed of 3.8 and an incline of 4. I was hurting after that.
Tomorrow morning is the hill and a PM workout. It is going to be such a busy day tomorrow. But you know what? I won’t be eating fast food. I will be drinking many liters of water and I will have energy.
